Tim Houghton, former SVP & Chief Sourcing Officer of Bell Canada
Timothy (Tim) D. Houghton is the former Senior Vice President and Chief Sourcing Officer of Bell Canada. Mr. Houghton was responsible for Bell’s recent cost transformation efforts. Through Mr. Houghton’s expertise, Bell has experienced significant savings and efficiencies in how they manage the costs and administration throughout all the company’s expenditure categories. Due to the complexity of the category, one of the greatest results came from the reformation of the enterprise contingent labour programs and indirect services.
Prior to joining Bell in the summer of 2005, Mr. Houghton was Vice President and Chief Procurement Executive of Supply Chain Services for BellSouth Corporation.
Prior to joining BellSouth in 1999, Mr. Houghton spent 15 years within the healthcare sector with responsibilities for the logistics strategy of a Fortune 100 Corporation.
Tim has earned graduate degrees in International Business and Corporate Finance, an undergraduate degree in accounting and is a CPA.
