V2H is our 4-step indirect procurement methodology that allows our clients to take a successful approach to the better management of category spend management. Unlike many of the large global procurement consultants that take an “all or nothing” approach, HCMWorks takes a unique stategic approach that creates a clear road-map to organizational success.

How the V2H process works:

  1. Spend Analysis - HCMWorks focuses initially on one category of indirect services expenditures (Vertical) to uncover the savings opportunities within that category.
  2. Procurement Savings Strategy - Working in conjunction with internal procurement executives, HCMWorks designs the strategy for converting the opportunities for savings into reality.
  3. Indirect Services Implementation – HCMWorks implements the necessary changes to the procure-to-pay process that will ensure adoption by end-user buyers and result in an extremely rapid ROI.
  4. Category Management – With hands-on transactional management, HCMWorks diminishes the Law of Diminishing Returns over time and promotes the continuation of sustainability through cross-departmental task forces and executive sponsorship.

While continuing to manage the first sourced category, HCMWorks repeats this same process across multiple categories of indirect services expenditures (Horizontal).
