Julia Fournier, Managing Partner

Julia Fournier is a managing partner at HCMWorks responsible for all business operation. With offices in Atlanta, Ottawa, Toronto and Montreal. Julia Fournier has over 18 years’ experience providing services to telecommunications, pharmaceutical, healthcare, banking and government industries.
As Managing Partner of Operations for HCMWorks since inception, Julia oversees the performance of all operations related to client delivery with the responsibility of over $1B of corporate expenditures under management. Julia’s career commenced with the provision of staffing and professional services to global customers and managed services with the largest staffing and IT services company Adecco. She then moved to the provision of vendor management solutions. Julia now provides consulting, management and overall procurement solutions leveraging technology, service delivery and managed services expertise.
Ted Weyn, Managing Partner

Co-founder of HCMWorks, Ted focuses on Strategy and Finance along with the Sales and Marketing Arm of the company. Ted is a recognized thought leader within the indirect procurement industry having authored and spoken on many procurement and managed services related topics. Ted currently sita on several board positions, most notably as a Board of Advisor to the Sourcing Interest Group (SIG.org) where he participates in sharing procurement innovation strategies to global procurement executives.
Prior to founding HCMWorks, Mr. Weyn served as Executive Vice President with White Amber. White Amber one of the industry’s first electronic procurement and management technologies for Human Capital Management. As one of the company’s co-founders, Ted was instrumental in securing over 60% of the company’s revenue while developing the corporate infrastructure to support sales and strategic alliances. Ted has instructed Fortune 100 companies such as Wachovia, CapitalOne, Entergy, Sony, Exxon, IBM, Thomas J. Lipton, First Fidelity and others in the efficient practices of indirect procurement services.
Ted also served as the Executive Director of Information Technology Services with Acsys, Inc; a publicly traded professional staffing company. At Acsys, he was responsible for the firm’s Information Technology Staffing practice as well as overseeing the successful deal and integration of several large acquisitions.
Today, Ted provides consulting services and best practices insight to procurement executives seeking to gain visibility into and control over indirect services expenditures such as contingent labor, helping them to drive savings and compliance within their organizations. Ted graduated from Fordham University.
Susan Richards, FCMA, Chief Financial Officer

Susan loves bringing a combination of strategy, management and accounting to her role as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining HCMWorks, Susan earned her stripes as CFO at a trio of successful Ottawa tech companies: bitHeads, Chipworks and Momentous, where she honed her skills of balancing integral financial reporting with creative financial solutions to help these businesses succeed. Susan is a passionate management accountant and over the years has done her best to distill the boring images traditionally associated with the accounting industry in favor of a more dynamic approach focused on the strategic side of the art of financial balance.
Susan has earned recognition over the years including being awarded a CMA Creative Leadership Awards for business “Intuition” in April 2009, as well as being a Profiled CMA in the April 2007 edition of CMA Management magazine. In October 2010, Susan was appointed a Fellow of The Society of Certified Management Accountants of Canada (FCMA). Prior to dedicating so much time to the three pillars of strategy, management and accounting, Susan was raised in Prince Edward Island where she had a wonderful childhood, attended UPEI (BBA/Accounting), and developed a love of family business.
Susan spends her spare time with her husband and 3 ‘hims’, running 1/2 marathons, serving on a variety of non-profit boards and watching “Dancing with the Stars”.
Dan Roehrs – Vice President, Business Development
Mr. Roehrs brings over 20 years of spend and supply management experience to HCMWorks. Dan began this supply management journey in the US Air Force Reserves in 1990, serving as an F-16 Crew Chief; involved in maintenance and procurement processes while attending school. After college, Dan worked as a supply chain and procurement consultant for AnswerThink Consulting. He later went on to serve in varies capacities (from professional services to business development roles) for software/solution providers in the space like Commerce One, Perfect Commerce, Ketera, Verticalnet (Bravo), Emptoris, Provade and most recently, with Coupa Software. Dan is widely considered a thought leader in the procurement and spend management space, with broad category exposure and experience, concentrating on an organization’s indirect or non-core (or GNFR) goods and services spend.
In his varies roles for consulting and solution providers, Dan has been a driver for action and advisor of solutions to global companies in industry verticals like oil/petro/chemical, healthcare, telecom/communications, media, aviation/aerospace, paper/pulp, retail, financial services and others. He has brought together solutions for companies to address such indirect categories of spend as staffing (temp, SOW, legal, etc.), transportation, facilities, MRO, print, telecom equipment, freight/shipping, travel & expense, IT (software & hardware), office supplies and more. This leveraging of Dan’s experience and network has delivered unparalleled levels of success while delivering the quickest time to value.
Dan is responsible for bringing furthering awareness of the achievements by HCMWorks and driving additional successes. Whether it is directly or through a combination of leveraging his vast network and partner eco-system, HCMWorks is proud to have Dan drive business development.
Hans van Eck-Casteels, Vice President of Operations

Hans has over fifteen years of corporate and consulting experience working within the airline, financial services, telecommunications, global manufacturing, pharmaceutical and information technology companies. Over the years, Hans has focused his efforts on helping these organizations strategize and execute their strategic sourcing, innovation, pricing / branding, knowledge management and training initiatives. He has successfully developed and executed strategic sourcing programs, leveraging accelerated and advanced sourcing processes and techniques, innovation and risk management strategies, to drive significant savings. Hans’s projects to date have resulted in consistent savings through addressing complex supplier relationships and routinely exceed clients’ objectives.
His recent accomplishments include developing a supplier relationship and risk management framework for a major Canadian bank, managing a global food ingredient client through pre and post-merger integration phases, while helping to establish a sustainable and performing center-led procurement community. For a major IT company, Hans established an innovation strategy and process Knowledge Center and training program for 130+ resources across the globe, involving best practices in sourcing and procurement (consistency, transparency, compliance and measurability), increasing the level of spend addressed and the velocity of eSourcing projects executed. He also managed a localization project for a Tier 2 Automotive supplier by conducting a nation-wide supplier discovery and selection process for high precision machined components. Through qualifications screens of over 450 suppliers and competitive RFP process the project resulted in 33% savings which exceeded objectives of mitigating incremental costs by currency fluctuation.
Hans is a thought leader in his field and has spoken at several industry events as well as recorded several podcast related to sourcing, procurement, innovation management, and the correlation between pricing and branding.
Prior to HCMWorks, Hans was global PMO for France Telecom, managing their global NeXT corporate strategy initiative, with focus on cost reduction (strategic sourcing), Innovation and complexity elimination. He was a Principal with A.T. Kearney and a Director with Canada 3000 Airlines. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Hospitality Management from the Hotel Management School of Oostende, Belgium and earned his Master of Economics degree from the University of Oxford.
